Terms of Service

Welcome to RecordMind. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RecordMind mobile app, our website at recordmind.me, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA).
- You agree to provide accurate registration information.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.
- Notify us immediately at support@recordmind.me if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You may delete your account at any time through in-app settings.
3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
3.1 Subscription plans

3.2 Consumable minute packs

3.3 Auto-renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
- Canceling does not refund the current period; access continues until it ends.
3.4 Refunds
All sales are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
3.5 Price changes
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Record any person without their lawful consent
- Upload or process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or violates anyone's privacy
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent technical limitations
- Build a competing product using the Services
- Share credentials or use automated systems to access the Services
5. User Content and Ownership
- You own your content. All recordings, transcripts, summaries, and notes remain your property.
- License to operate. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and process your content solely to provide the Services. This ends when you delete the content or close your account.
- No model training. We do not use your content to train any AI models.
6. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, design, logos, and documentation, are owned by RecordMind and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal or internal business purposes. "RecordMind" is our trademark.
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend access if you violate these Terms, with notice except in serious cases. Upon termination, your content is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AI-generated transcripts and summaries may contain inaccuracies. Do not rely on them as a sole source of truth for critical decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECORDMIND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Apple-Specific Terms
- These Terms are between you and RecordMind only. Apple is not a party.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for RecordMind.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- You represent you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
